How Visual Clarity Flow handles personal data when you read the site, follow a guide, or send us a message through the contact form.

What this policy covers
This policy is the privacy policy for Visual Clarity Flow, the education site at visualclarityflow.info. It explains what personal data we collect when you read a guide about eye fatigue, adjust your screen habits, or write to us, and what we do with that data afterwards.
It applies to this website only. Pages we link to for extra reading are run by other organisations and follow their own rules, so it is worth checking their policy before you send them anything. Where our guides touch on eye comfort, they stay general: we publish background reading, not a diagnosis, and we do not ask you to share health details with us.
Three contact points matter for this page. The contact page carries the message form, the cookie policy explains the categories of cookies in more detail, and the terms of service set out the rules for using the guides. If you only want the short version, the summary rows beside this panel already answer the common questions.
The short version
-
We ask for very little
Only what you type into the contact form, plus routine technical details your browser sends with any page request.
-
We do not sell your data
Service providers who host the site or deliver our email see data only as far as their job requires.
-
You can write to us
Ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or a deletion through the contact page and we will act on it.

The cookie policy covers stored files in more detail; the terms of service cover how the guides may be used.
Data we collect
There are two situations where data reaches us: when you fill in the contact form, and when your browser loads a page. Neither asks you for sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not include medical details or anything about a diagnosis in a message.
What you enter in the contact form
Your name, your email address, and the content of your message. Whatever you choose to type is what arrives.
Technical details of the visit
Browser type, device category, and a general region, recorded automatically when a page is requested.
Page and reading activity
Which guides are opened and roughly how long a visit lasts, so we can tell which chapters are worth keeping.
What we do not collect
No payment details, no government identifiers, and no health records. The site has no account system and no checkout.
Messages from other people
If you write about someone else, you are responsible for having their permission to share what you send.
If you would rather not hand over an email address, you can still read every guide on the site. The contact form is the only place we ask you for anything at all.
Why we collect it
Contact form data is used to answer your message. That usually means writing back, and occasionally correcting a page you have pointed out. Technical information keeps the site running and tells us which guides people actually finish reading. Page activity helps us decide what to expand and what to leave alone; the blue-light glasses chapter, for example, was rewritten after readers told us the evidence section needed more caveats.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making, we do not build advertising profiles from it, and we do not feed it into any scoring or ranking system. No message you send is used as a testimonial or published anywhere on the site.
Where we rely on your agreement to hold something, you can withdraw it at any time by asking us to delete it. Where we keep a record because we need to answer a request properly, we keep only the part that does that job.
A limit worth stating
We are an education site, not a clinic. We cannot advise on a specific eye condition from a message, and we will not ask you for one. If a question needs a professional opinion, we will say so plainly and point you towards a qualified source rather than guess.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files your browser stores on your device. The site uses them for two jobs, and neither is about following you around the internet.
Keeping the site working
Some files are needed for basic functions, such as remembering that you have already seen the cookie notice so it does not appear on every page you open. Turn these off in your browser and parts of the site may behave oddly.
Understanding reading
Aggregated counts of which guides are opened and where readers stop help us judge whether a chapter is worth the space. These numbers are read as totals, not as a record of one person's visit.
Your control
Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete stored cookies from its settings. Blocking them does not stop you reading the guides. The cookie policy lists the categories we use in more detail.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal data, and we do not trade it. The people who can see what you send are the people answering the message, plus the providers whose services the site runs on: the company that hosts the pages, and the mail service that delivers and stores our inbox.
Those providers receive data only to the extent their job needs it, and they are not free to use it for their own marketing. Where a provider is based outside Indonesia, a message may be stored on servers in another country; by using the contact form you accept that this transfer is part of how the request is handled.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or if we need to protect the site and the people using it. We will not do that lightly, and where we are allowed to tell you, we will.
Retention
A message stays in our inbox only as long as it takes to answer it and deal with any follow-up. Once that is finished, we delete it or strip out the identifying parts.
Technical logs run for a limited period, long enough to spot a broken page or a burst of junk traffic, and are then deleted or reduced to totals that no longer point at one visitor.
If you want a message removed before that, write to us through the contact page and say so.
Your rights over your data
You can ask what we hold, have it corrected, or have it deleted.
Write through the contact page, say what you want done, and give us enough detail to find the record: the email address you used, roughly when you wrote, and the subject of the message. That is usually enough. We answer within a reasonable period, and if a request will take longer than usual we will tell you why.
Some requests have limits. If we are required to keep a record for a legal or accounting reason, we can explain what is being held and for how long, but we cannot delete it early. You may also object to particular uses of your data, and you can ask us to stop using a message for site improvement while a request is being looked at.
Requests are handled by the site team, not by an automated system.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect what we hold: the site is served over an encrypted connection, access to the inbox is limited to the people who answer messages, and accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-factor sign-in where the provider supports it.
No method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection. Please keep sensitive information out of the contact form, and if you think something you sent has been exposed, tell us straight away so we can look into it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the way the site operates changes, or when the rules that apply to it change. The current version always sits on this page, and the revision date is shown beside the section list above.
If a change affects what we do with messages you have already sent, we will describe it in plain words rather than quietly editing a line. Continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept the updated text; if you disagree with it, you can ask us to delete anything you previously sent.
The terms of service cover how the guides and pages may be quoted or reused, and the cookie policy covers stored files. Both sit alongside this page as part of the same set.
Most of our questions come from people reading at a desk for long stretches. This policy exists so you know exactly what happens to a message before you send one.
Questions about this policy
Send questions about the privacy policy, or a request about your own data, through the contact page. Include the email address you used and enough detail for us to find the record, and we will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.
